Alone or Lonely ...??

Am i lonely coz i am alone or am i alone coz i feel lonely...?
You are covered by people all around, your colleagues, friends, peer, everyone is there, talking and sharing..but still amongst the talks and meetings,,,a moment comes and you find yourself lonely...away from this world...desperately wishing that things would change..wondering why is this vacuum getting bigger day by day...
You are alone..no one but you. You haven't been talking much since last few days..people have tried to get in touch, but you keep avoiding or ignoring them,,,,you sit down..listening to music...sipping coffee...and yet you don't feel lonely...you are away from the world...and yet you feel more connected than ever...
I wonder which is better....being lonely, or being alone??
